It's been quite a long time since I've been here! I unfortunately didn't get to work on the Millennium Promise competition like I had hoped. Right now I am currently working and editing photos as much as possible. I hope that I can find more time in the future for Design 21 projects.

Day 1 - May 30 & May 31 (First post!)
Community, Communication Design
Hello! After finishing my spring semester a few weeks ago I've had more time to finally explore the depths of the Design 21 Website. I had no idea that I wanted to work in digital design, with photoshop, and my own photography.
A lot of people had told me, "do yourself a favor! go to an artsy school! do art!" and I didn't consider it--chose to "challenge" myself and fight through four years of a degree in English Literature. Somehow, I always knew it wasn't what I wanted until this past semester began in January. On a whim I signed up for a Digital Imaging class because I had heard wonderful things, seen the projects, and knew I could do it. Taking that course was the best decision I have made in a very, very long time.
It not only led me to this website, but also helped me figure out how to channel my imagination and creative ideas in a way that I enjoyed. I'm starting this blog partly to document how I'm doing in the world of design as a beginner, but also as part of my interest in the newest design competition for the Millennium Promi...
