For the last decade, Renee Anderson has been involved in creating websites, starting as a visual designer. She quickly transitioned into information architecture and interaction design and is particularly interested in the delicate balance of project facets such as how user requirements and needs can enhance rather than conflict with client requirements, how visual design can complement and improve good user experience design, and where the online experience meets the offline. She is currently interested in learning more about service design and how her current skills may translate into the field.
Renee has worked on web projects for clients including UNHabitat, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Gap, Inc., and Charles Schwab. She has a BA in Anthropology and a Masters in Graphic Design.
Renee is a user-experience designer currently working for Hot Studio, Inc., an award-winning design firm based in San Francisco, USA.
Architecture for Humanity: Working at Hot Studio (www.hotstudio.com) I helped design the user experience and interface for their Open Architecture Network website (www.openarchitecturenetwork.org).
