Designer with a BFA in product design from Parsons School of design and a Masters in design from Domus Academy in Milan. Driven by the endless search for a more profound and worthy meaning to her work she discovered the world of Victor Papanek, Buckminster Fuller, John Todd, Viktor Schauberguer and Paul Hawken, authors of visions that have in part satisfied her need for answers but at the same time spurred many more questions. "Unfortunately my work till now (defining work as the activity through which you earn your living) has been always very lacking of sustainability, I have had to go looking for it on my spare time, participating in several competitions and developing personal projects. I am passionate about water for example and so I’ve done a few projects that deal with issues regarding the way water is treated and recently I have ventured into the task of proposing ideas to companies that produce eco-compatible materials, a very difficult task. From this realization and many other starting points in common I find myself collaborating with genitronsviluppo.com in quite an innovative project” “The most challenging and important part of a project for mi is the initial phase where I gather all the pertaining information, sometimes my research takes me to the most unexpected places. The plurality of languages is I think something that characterizes me and helps me during this first phase of exploration, I scribble key words, concepts, analogies, I let myself go to intuition that sooner or later takes me to the solution, there where all of the pieces fall together and fit perfectly in the puzzle, the ‘genius’ idea, the lighting of creativity that I then translate into many things, drawings, virtual or physical models, writings, songs, tales. Perhaps that’s why some people tell me I’m good at solving problems.”
