Feng Shui is the Ancient Chinese 'Art of Placement' where we arrange our living and working space to the best advantage, to create balance and harmony within our surroundings. The effect of energy forces on our lives including our health, relationships, prosperity, careers and spirituality can all be activated by using auspicious symbols that are used to enhance good Feng Shui and minimise the bad aspects. By applying Feng Shui you can "Change Your Energy, Change Your Life."

Often, we are unable to relocate or reposition our home or office, so then the choice is to make the best of what you have. This is where the items and certain symbols may be effective in achieving positive results with positive intentions.

Feng Shui can mean different things to different people. It does not contradict any religious or cultural beliefs. Feng Shui is the science of bringing together the people and the environment in which we strive to find harmony and balance - energy moving and flowing around you.

Feng Shui is pronounced Fung Shway (not feng shooie). It literally means wind (feng) and water (shui). Be aware of your own energy field, how you affect others and how others affect you. Every moment of our life is an opportunity to grow. Learn to let go of the negative experiences and thoughts. Everything changes, nothing stays the same.

Start thinking positive about yourself and you will change your life and the outcomes - 'Positive Intentions creates Positive Results.' Feng Shui surrounds us everyday, yet a lot of people do not know this. Feng Shui is Life-force, Chi also known as Energy. You cannot see it, but you can feel it.

By this it is meant - you can walk into a room and not feel comfortable but do not know why. It is mainly to do with the energy flow and your intuition or instincts are telling you that 'something' is not quite right.

It may be as easy as moving plants and furniture to make it feel balanced, proving that Feng Shui does not have to be complicated. Start by de-cluttering, as clutter causes stagnant energy that holds you back, instead of allowing you to move forward. Clutter can cause ill fortune and affect your health. The house we choose reflects our personality, as does our garden, colour scheme and decor.

By just placing certain objects in a certain area is not going to perform miracles for you. Placement plays a very small part in Feng Shui, the rest is really up to you.

If you want to make a difference in your life then you must let go of the old energy to allow the new energy to enter. Using Feng Shui and applying the bagua map, is a positive method. Surround yourself with everything you love so that your environment reflects your personality. Do not display gifts you do not like or do not represent you.

Symbols are merely stating to the Universe that you need help in certain areas of your life. You must make it happen for yourself and use your mindset positively. Sitting in your living room thinking you're going to win the lottery because you have a money frog and a fountain, is not how Feng Shui works. If you want to live the life you want, you must do this through conscious living. Feng Shui can create more fulfilment and harmony in your life when applied correctly. Take small steps and do not expect miracles over night.

Taking positive steps in applying Feng Shui symbols correctly, making positive affirmations for your own personal luck & creating a positive energy flow, all assist in making your goals in life to come to fruition.

    "Positive Intentions creates Positive Results"

Remember, "Feng Shui is the beginning of change, the rest is up to you."
