Since 1998, Alexandra Aguinaga has worked within a number of leading entertainment-based companies gaining further insight and real world experience. Her career has spanned with an assorted combination from interfacing on legal teams for A-List talent in film or music to assisting on multimillion dollar campaigns for world class brands to rounding off her last experience at Paramount Pictures.
As an entrepreneur, Aguinaga’s business strengths and fervor for the media and entertainment industries stemmed into forming her own ventures ranging from various disciplines in artist representation, brand development, content acquisition, event planning, multimedia projects, music placement, and online media. Her expansive knowledge and specialties include entertainment law, international strategic development, implementing anti-piracy and technology solutions for emerging media, arranging digital distribution through multiple platforms and launching multiplatform entertainment projects.
In addition to working within numerous well-known companies, Aguinaga has also established business relationships throughout her career with foreign diplomats, government entities including foreign ministries, consulates and embassies as well as international relations organizations around the world. Her key interests align by combining social initiatives and cultural diplomacy through government entities and business organizations within the global entertainment industry.
Currently she sits on an advisory committee for Dress for Success, a US non-profit organization dedicated to providing business attire and career development preparation to disadvantaged women seeking to enter the job market. She is also a contributing editor to Women’s Online Magazine UK covering key topics within the music and entertainment industries.
