Companies in a range of sectors from REIT, reinsurer, and medical services will have their IPO. Aug. 14, 2013 - CHUO-KU, Japan -- Independence Reality Trust (IRT) is a real estate investment trust that owns properties in six American states. They will offer 4 million shares with a price range of $10 to $11 with the intention of raising $42 million. If successful Independence Reality Trust would have a market value $101 million. The company was founded in 2009 and is based in Philadelphia, PA. Over the past year they have recorded $17 million in sales. JMP Securities, William Blair, Compass Point, and Ladenburg Thalmann & CO are underwriting the deal. Envision Healthcare (EVHC) who provides ambulance and outsourced medical services will offer 35 million shares with a price range of $20 to $23 with the intention of raising $753 million. If successful Envision Healthcare would have a market value of $3.9 billion. The company was founded in 2011 and is based in Greenwood Village, CO. Over the past year they have recorded $3.5 billion in sales. Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Barclays, and Goldman Sachs are underwriting the deal. Aug. 09, 2013 - CHUO-KU, Japan -- TCL Associates today announced the coming launch of their QI-System, a trading algorithm that allows the use of a number of portfolio level instructions, including cash balancing and risk neutralization. Using more than 50 different risk indicators, the QI-System enhances execution by correlating assets, volatility, and projected market impact. Resulting in better execution and risk management. At its launch, the proprietary system will not be made available to the general public. It will only be available to corporate investors through a secure web platform. Retail had a solid quarter on the back of a strong Japanese market and asset management had its best quarter since 2007. Aug. 08, 2013 - CHUO-KU, Japan -- TCL Associates on Wednesday announced its consolidated financial results for the second quarter of the calendar year ending December 31st 2013. Net revenue in the second quarter increased 14% compared with the same period last year, and income before taxes was 11% higher. Net income for shareholders jumped by 10%. “We had an excellent second quarter with revenues increasing across the firm and income steadily rising and year on year income from our core business segments is at the highest level in four years,” said Mr Souta Tochigi Chairman of the Board of Directors. “Our retail division performed better than expected with sales up significantly from the last quarter of last year, largely due to an increase in sales of equities and investment funds when the Japanese markets began to rally in April and May. Asset management reported higher revenues and income as assets under management increased.
