Call me k.frost. I'm currently in my 4th semester at the University of Michigan, School of Art & Design, though I have completed 10 semesters overall. Apparently I am taking the long road. I have a love of learning and the education of others, especially in leadership, design, and the environment. I found design through studying architecture in high school and from a management position at a temporary job. I love helping others and improving lives. Unfortunately the University of Michigan has no existing program in Industrial Design, and still I persist to graduate and practice ID. You'll see.... Please feel free to throw any advice my way, I'm still a little sponge and I'll soak up any great advice that pertains to ID, management, education and leadership! Check out my website if you'd like too!
IDSA, Student Chapter at the University of Michigan. When I'm not doing classwork, I'm doing behind the scenes work for our chapter. I love networking with IDSA National, organizing design tutorials, and providing any guidance I can to anyone who asks for it. Basically IDSA is my pastime.
UM School of Art & Design Ambassador, As a student representing our school, I get to talk with prospective Art & Design Students and help aide the interview process for new staff and faculty members.
University of Michigan's Leadershape which is a week long event of bonding with new people and honing your leadership skills, an event that has inspired me to inspire others. I will be a Leadershape Cluster Facilitator this summer, so I will have the opportunity to give others the same inspiration I received.
