    Boat Quay, Singapore

Step aside from the bustling flow of tourists to the back lanes of Boat Quay and you will find something really phenomenal: a city of air-con condensing units. Narrow streets are filled with humming noise and hot air generated from those little boxes. These old shophouses were originally designed for residential or small business purposes, once converted into a restaurant or a bar, a good M&E engineer is needed in order to keep the building looking good from all angles.
