Jirawit Yamkleeb is a practising architect with SCDA Architects, Singapore. He was born in 1977 in Bangkok, Thailand. He received his Master of Science in Architecture, Major Urbanism, from Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands, in 2003 and Bachelor of Architecture from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, in 1999. Upon his graduation at TU Delft, his Thesis was selected as part of Transforming Asian Cities, a series of lectures and exhibition in Delft, Rotterdam and Jakarta.
In 2001, Jirawit won honourable mention prize for Shinkenchiku Residential Design Competition and was awarded The Japanese Government Fellowship Program for Artists from Abroad (Bunka-cho) in which he was under supervision of the JIA. His works were also chosen by the Architectural League of New York in 2006 for Architecture and The Mail Project and by IAAC, Spain, in 2007 for the 2nd Advanced Architecture Contest.
During his employment with SCDA Architects Jirawit has worked on numerous projects both locally and internationally. He has traveled frequently for work to Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, New Delhi, Bangalore, Maldives, Dubai, Tivoli, Verona, Rome, Melbourne and Guilin.
