Hello Kate, I recently watched a news program featuring a seed vault in the Arctic! Organized and founded by one lone man...surrounded by ice to preserve the seeds. Our present reality is now a futuristic movie...mimicking the science fiction I loved watching in the 70's. "A New Earth", indeed is surely evolving into what...? Fifty years from now, will those same seeds be worth more than gold?

I would love to find out more about the news program you saw - do you have any online links to the story you speak of?
You are spot on though - our reality is slowly becoming a sci-fi [futuristic] movie, and this has been fascinating me for months... I would love to hear more about your thoughts on this, as I am currently doing a research paper on it!
