“Ananias” is a Mass Communications-Advertising graduate of the Lyceum of the Philippines University. He dreams of becoming a bodhisattva but is stuck in the dilemmas of real life as it is - part of which is his ongoing struggle with corporate slavery and the problems of the modern man. He argues that the words "creativity" and "creative" are misnomers as there is nothing left to create for humankind, with all the raw materials being readily available for manipulation by man to produce more complicated renditions of what is already existent.

He is a fanatic observer of pop culture, the very fleeting nature of everything popular: ushered by the fast-paced progression of society as a whole, deeming everything as highly necessary at one moment and dispensable at the next. He sees this decadence as a disease which is fast spreading, and is horrified by the idea of man succumbing into a zombified state, reducing life as an issue of quantities over qualities. While he remains optimistic as a whole, he believes that if we are to continue as a society we must struggle to fight for the values which the humankind upholds in general: justice, equality, compassion and empathy. He thinks bigotry, racism, and sexism are horribly outmoded and must be phased out.

He is Christian but he finds that God reveals Itself in several gradations for and within everything. He is thus appreciative of the many revelations of God in every culture, aspect and nuance of existence."
