Design 21: Social Design Network

My background is theatre. Putting on the show. Since about 10 years old, staging "events" in my front Florida sububan yard. Charging admission. In my mind it was a PT Barnum extravaganza. In reality it was an old parachute that we made into a tent and a lemonade stand. Since then I have been in LA and NY and designed for theatre, film, televion and corporate entertainment. And even the circus. So it comes full circle. Now I hope to become part of or originate some new synthesis of media theatre involving good storytelling and modern staging- projections, a series of five huge, plasma monitors that are a coordinated backdrop to a live stage. And audio. Really making sound a living, moving texture and character in a new kind of space. I hope to be a part of this new world that marries technology with a real community and humanity. Bringing us back to stories around a fire, acting out the days events, someone's dream.
