  • 4000 permanent new semi-permanent jobs to be created by C2C Exploration mining, in Minas Gerais, (Brazil) as of 2013 as the C2C prepares to drill at the company's Sao Bento mine.

    Sep. 18, 2012 - Mr Chris Jarvis C.E.O. at C2C Exploration this morning announced at a board meeting held in Brasilia, that the company expects to create as many as 4000 new jobs in the state of Minas Gerais, where the company's Sao Bento gold mine is located.

    This latest news comes only weeks after the company announced that full scale production on the site is to begin in October. Mr Javis went on to say that due to the company's community obligationsC2C will attempt to recruit where possible from within the local area, and will be offering training and safety courses to successful candidates.

    This move for C2C signals the beginning of a period of rapid expansion, in company size, productivity and investment. Mr Jarvis commented "We are supremely confident in this project, and we're keen to begin. This is however, a long term project and we will be adhering to the defined strategies". The company at this time is preparing training courses, with the first wave due to begin on Monday 23rd September 2012. C2C intend to ensure that accidents rates are as low as possible, and that all staff are sufficiently experienced to conduct their respective roles.

    C2C Exploration, a Sao Paulo, Brazil based, mining company, announced today that following successful pre-feasibility studies, the company will begin full scale extraction at the recently acquired Sao Bento site, as soon as late october 2012. This marks an important milestone for the Brazilian mining company, as it marks the beginning of a campaign of investment and expansion.

    The Sao Bento Mineração project is located in the state of Minas Gerais, while the site project office is in the town of Belo Horizonte, which is considered to be the epicentre of Brazilian mining.

    In total, this property spans an area of 8000 hectares, close to the Brazilian capital of Brasilia. C2C Exploration holds multiple licenses to explore and develop the terain. Prospects for extraction on this site are excellent, due to strong ties to local infrastructure and community, meaning transport and labour are readily available.

    A recently conducted pre-feasibility Study at the São Bento property has indicated high levels of gold mineralisation, in unprocessed areas. Although in the developmetal stages, this property holds great hope for C2C Explorations' expansion. The Sao Bento Mineração lies close to a pre-existing mine owned by AngloGold Ashanti Plc (AGD).
