menosketiago™ AKA Tiago Almeida was born in Lisbon 23 years ago. Soon started making doodles of stick figures in castles and pirate ships, ornamented with machine lettering absorbed from the mythical Sesame Street .
By the time education started the alphabet was a close friend and a precocious taste for typography was hinted, leading to several changes on handwriting style for the following years from machinelike lettering to several cursive writing styles that turned teacher's test correcting into an ordeal.
The first contact with computers was through the old Amiga 500 and getting into friendly terms with the Mac and the PC, was just like changing wet socks. For the following years acquaintance was made with computer softwares (games utmost) and taking the paternal figure (old school graphic designer) as a role model, started to make school reports using Quark and Photoshop (Office is for whiners).
At 16 landed the first paying gig, doing digital coloring for several comic covers of Texas based Deep End Studio, under the name of Muadib Graphics. In 2002 during internship designed the inlisboa.com website and in 2005 worked 4 months (during vacations) for Edimpresa, the major print media publishing company in Portugal.
Currently on the last of a 5 years degree in Equipment Design at Lisbon's Fine Arts School, while working occasionally as a freelance designer and illustrator.
