Design 21: Social Design Network

I have always loved to create. After my first trip to Africa following high school, I committed myself to a life on the continent and at some point strayed from the arts to pursue development.

Years later, I now realized that traditional development strategies can be greatly enhanced through artistic creativity and innovation.

I currently live in Kigali, Rwanda where, among other things, I work with artisan cooperatives to create new products using traditional local materials. I am looking for new ways to grow and expand my belief in art as economic driver.
