I'm an assistant editor at Workman Publishing. I edit kids' books, but before that I worked at Surface Magazine, where I learned a lot about design (previously had no knowledge). I wrote about design for Surface and then started writing for Good magazine, focusing on sustainably minded design among other topics. For the September issue, they published an article of mine on the green school movement. In non-design related pursuits, I write for children's television shows and before that worked at Mother Jones magazine, an investigative/political magazine.
