Design 21: Social Design Network

The Robin Hood fights poverty in New York City unlike any other organization. We find, fund and create the most effective programs in the city’s poorest neighborhoods - from community-based early childhood interventions to citywide education initiatives - and then provide management and support services to make them even better. To ensure that every dollar is invested wisely, we rigorously assess each program using independent, third-party evaluators to hold them accountable. Because Robin Hood’s board of directors underwrites all administrative and fundraising costs, 100 percent of all donations go directly to programs helping poor New Yorkers build better lives for themselves and their families.
