Hebop - Installation Instructions
Environment, Industrial Design
I made an installation instructional manual to go a long with the box of 'Hebop', the manual could also be downloaded from the web.
The manual shows the parts that come in the box, the step by step sequence and preparations needed for the installation and a side-cut view of the whole process in one diagram to understand "the big picture" and not just to follow the instructions 1-8...
This manual is directed towards the Parks Maintenance Personnel that in most cases would be the ones to install and uninstall the 'Hebop' (for maintenance, etc.).

User Testing Round 3 / NFP infor
Well-being, Industrial Design
For the final user testing, I would like to test out if the assembly instruction is clear for the user since my product is a flat pack furniture piece. I will test it with my target audient, middle class family who has children. This user testing will appear if I have to adjust my design or instruction to fulfill the understanding of the Product and instruction.

Cost Analysis - Prototype
Well-being, Industrial Design
I'm still looking to reduce the unit cost of the product. Because of the injection molding (cost of mold), the cost is high. However, if this product is mass produced and distributed by U.S. government, the cost will be much lower than prototype cost analysis

BIO
Communication, Communication Design
Thomas Tan
Bio Thomas Tan was born in Manhattan but lived in Queens, Taiwan, New Jersey, and now currently lives in Brooklyn. At the age of two, weekends were shared with his mother drawing Batman figures, and ever since then, observational drawings became an interest of his. He is now pursuing that passion at Parsons School of Design for Product Design. His interests include, but are not limited to, art, design, sneakers, music, film, and photography. Thomas believes that inspiration can be found in everything, and that anything can be improved no matter how small, big, or insignificant it may seem.
Project Title Two-Tees
Project Description Two-Tees is to enhance courtship through strengthening of emotional bonds while preserving self-identity using interactive design.

Second User Test
Well-being, Industrial Design
I visited the family to do user testing. The user test was done by two children. This time, I tried to know that the transmitter which is attaching on children's cloths annoy them or bother their movements. The transmitter was attached on the lower part of their pants and near the belt. Both children said that the transmitter didn't bother their movement.

Is it possible to generate products that are sensuous and smart, beguiling and ethically grounded?
