Imagine the place where you spend most of your time each day. where is it? - School

Imagine it as you most want it to be.

1.What is your #1 vision for change that will make it that way? To make our school a place where students can interact to each other regardless of majors. In my opinion, the way the school spaces out each mojor in different buildings is not sufficient for the interaction between students in different majors.

    1. After your #1 thing happens, how will everyone benefit? Students will be able to hang out more often and share the information about what they are studying in their major. I think this interaction will give students a more wider point of view on design study.
    2. Give some example of what you can do (on your own/with a group) to make your vision a reality. Design social places like a cafeteria or small campas that students form different majors can easily access.

Imagine your neighborhod the way you most want it to be.

1.What is your #1 vision for change that will make it that way? To make my neighborhod a more secure place at night time so that people can walk around even after sunset.

    1. After your #1 thing happens, how will your neighborhood benefit? People don't feel fear of being robbed or anything while they are out at night time.
    2. Give some example of what you can do (on your own/with a group) to make your vision a reality. Put more street lumps to light up streets. Have policemen patrol more often to prevent crimes.

Imagine your country the way you most want it to be.

1.What is your #1 vision for change that will make it that way? We have lost so many traditional things that we built up over the history since World War Second ended. It is astonishing how fast we reconstructed our country after the war from a defeated country to one of the economic powers in the world and how dramatically we westernized our life styles in such a short priod. However, what we forgot in this rapid economic grows drivened by western sysytem was essential for Japanese to be "Japanese". I think now we are at the point where we need to slow down a little bit and to look back to see what we have sacrificed for westernization and reevaluate Japanese tradition.

2.After your #1 thing happens, how will everyone in your nation benefit? People will have an eye for what is unique in our tradition and have more awareness of what our roots are.

    1. Give some example of what you can do (on your own/with a group) to make your vision a reality. Change educational systems and social systems.

Imagine the world the way you most want it to be. 1.What is your #1 vision for change that will make it that way? To make the world a place where everyone has fundamental human rights, educational rights, good living conditions.

2.After your #1 thing happens, how will everyone ---regardless of where they live, the resources they have, or what they brlieve---benefit? Under the low people have no fear of being discriminate. With education systems people have the freedom to gain their knowledge to live smart. With good living conditions people can live healthy both mentally and physically.

    1. Give some example of what you can do (on your own/with a group) to make your vision a reality. On a politics level, we need goverments that ensure those basic rights for people especially in developing countries. On a indivisual level, I can think of some of ways to contribute to this issue. For instance, we can donate stationalies to those who don't have enough or can design products that allows those who don't have access to clean water to produce one by themselves such as a purlifier.

What is the #1 Vision for change that you want to wark on. Since I am a product designer, I would like to design something either tangible or intangible to make a change.

Since I am not a citizen, I can not vote.

I am male. I am Asian. I am Buddhist.
