This is an innovative interpretation of a much-used conceptual solution for the topic at hand. Your conceptual solution communicates a multi-layered massage which is not as clear as your solution for the poster on ‘freedom of expression’. The graffiti styled image (alluding to subversive action) and the use of 3D glasses (a different point of view) actively engages the viewer on an intellectual and interactive level yet it remains ‘morbid’ in this instance. The sombre tone of the colour pallet and the sad expression on the figure’s face results in a sombre subtext that does not leave the viewer with an uplifting impression and does not inspire pro-action – one wonders what has changed?
