    Education, Communication Design

In many parts of the world going to school and getting a fundamental education is a difficult task. By using the handwriting of a child pleading for help, I was hoping to trigger an emotional response in the viewer to raise awareness of an issue that many take for granted.

  • Does this design reflect a(n)...

    • well developed and easily understood concept?

Your conceptual solution clearly communicates the massage that you intend to convey. I do however think that you can make it even more powerful by exploring alternative visual and media solutions. For instance, instead of writing your text message with a coloured pencil on paper, it might be more powerful to write it with a stick in soil or with a finger in dust. I also suggest that you review your use of language which is currently quite sophisticated. Consider something like “I wish that I was allowed to go back to school.”

    • level of social engagement?

Good. See above comments to make it even more powerful.

    • understanding of the issues reflected in the poster?

    • sense of internationalism and accessibility?

Good. Also consider producing the poster in more than one language.
