Project H Design is a charitable organization that supports, inspires, and delivers life-improving humanitarian product design solutions. We champion industrial design as a tool to address social issues, a vehicle for global life improvement, and a catalyst for individual and community empowerment.

Programs

Project H Design encourages the reorientation of the design industry towards a more socially-impactful and humanitarian entity through three core efforts:

Support: Provide an online index resource of innovative and socially-oriented products both existing and in development, designers, and organizations currently engaged in humanitarian-based industrial design initiatives.
Inspire: Host case-study based competitions to facilitate the collection, discussion, and production of life-improving products that address global issues (i.e. education, health, water sanitation, etc).
Deliver: Work with communities to assess their needs, connect them to designers, design to their context, and fund and deliver new or existing product solutions.

News & Events

On February 1st in New York City, Project H Design will be representing a few great product designs that benefit the greater good and serve global citizens. At the Greener Gadgets Conference, sponsored by Inhabitat and Marc Alt + Partners, Project H will have an exhibit space showing the BOGO light, One Laptop Per Child, creations from Natalie Jeremijenko, and more.
