Nick, Thanks for your response. Your points are noted and I agree. However, my thoughts were not focused on our changing technology but really on the importance of expanding design education to include all that surrounds design. All of my design courses contain history, culture, technology, ethnography and the sciences. Designers of the future will be required to be literate in multiple disciplines. Best, Martin
