The strongest aim of Thriving is shifting attitudes towards a more inclusive societal view of intelligence, and a stronger appreciation of the value of people in their communities.

Educationally the focus is on creativity, increasing personal strength and resilience through self-management, wellbeing, motivation and optimism - the foundations for personal learning. Thriving is also inspired by social innovation, enthusiastic about community projects that promote collective volunteering and aims to promote the energising and expanding possibilities of inter-agency/sector collaboration.

Thriving:

• Celebrates and encourages strengths.

• Nurtures a sense of hope, excitement, fun, passion and happiness..

• Fosters purpose, inner resource, capability and resilience.

• Listens, is responsible, altruistic and compassionate towards people
and the world.

• Promotes creativity, ideas and positive self-expression.

• Believes that people are strong, brave and honest, and deserve
respect and kindness.

• Helps create emotionally and physically healthy, secure climates in
which to develop and grow.
