New York, NY (May 19, 2007) – With the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in full swing, DESIGN 21 and almost 300 guests filled the Felissimo Townhouse in New York City on Saturday, May 19 for an evening of 10 Cane cocktails, great music, and an inspiring display of design for the greater good.
With a sneak preview of the next phase of the online community and display of the new Allumonde Ring designed by Richard Hutten who was in attendance, DESIGN 21 was excited to spread the word about some of the many great current and upcoming projects!
Also on exhibit throughout the six-story midtown townhouse was Good Magazine “Define Social Design” competition winners and Parsons Product and Integrated Design Thesis Exhibitions. Parsons’ “A Good Life 2007” showcased product design thesis projects developed in partnership with non-profit organizations and “Urban Interludes” showcased projects that exemplified multi-disciplinary approaches to urban-based research and design explorations in New York City.
