On March 1, we will launch a new series of competitions beginning with Grameen Felssimo, a collaborative project to benefit the Grameen Check fabric-producing villages of Bangladesh. We make this announcement on February 21 as it is UNESCO's International Mother Language Day. This is particularly fitting as International Mother Language Day was proclaimed following a proposal from the people of Bangladesh that had to fight for recognition of Bengali as their official language - a significant event in their quest for independence.
