  • Build a preschool for 150 children

Business Council For Peace, United States

    Education, Industrial Design

Results of research conducted in Habiba’s neighborhood on the outskirts of Kabul showed an unmet demand for a safe and educational environment for preschool aged children. In addition to a safe learning environment for 150 children, the school also provides jobs in the community, and promotes economic prosperity to the immediate and extended families of the children who attend by allowing parents to work.

Habiba needs just $30,000US more to finish construction on her new preschool. She has contributed $33,000 of her own money and Bpeace has already raised $30,000.

  • Office Space Needed

    NY de Volunteer, United States

    Education, Industrial Design

NY de Volunteer, ”NYdV,” opened an office in May 2005 for orientation sessions, workshops, meetings and for NYdV staffs to plan and prepare its activities. Having the office enables NYdV to provide a wider range of activities and to improve efficiency. However, the rent has been a financial burden.

Hence we are looking for companies which can support us by providing free office space large enough to have three computers.

For any inquires, please contact Noriko Hino: Tel: 212-932-7208 e-mail: Noriko@nydevolunteer.org
