Stories from the Field

by Sekiranda Ronald

The eye has an iris which has eight objects or pieces representing the eight United Nations Millennium Development Goals.

The pupil is made up of the United Nation Logo Map representing the International Community and ownership of United Nations.

The lower and upper eyelashes running from either direction represent stories from the field.

The film in the background and film wheel (iris and pupil) represents the film part of the festival.

The Global Humanitarian and Human Rights issues are therefore represented and watched by the iris and pupil being the Millennium development goals in the international community.
