My idea of a suitable Logo for the "Stories from the Field" Filmfestival, was to use a reel of film with images symbolizing the millions of people in the world that are without sufficient food. Since many of the principles stated in the "Millennium Development Goals" are at least indirectly linked to hunger and enviromental damage, I decided to use these themes as the primary imagery. The repetition of the film picture stands for the many people affected, a theme which some festival entrants may cover in their work. The dried up earth symbolizes impending enviomental issues in many regions of the Planet and global warming.
