The idea behind the "Awareness" logo is to communicate that the Stories from the Field film festival promotes documentaries that raises issues to our consciousness. The logo is constructed in the film aspect ratio and contains the conversations, stories told thru the films. Also, it is in the likeness of a flag that every country has as well. The color red is used to bring the issues up front center and creates an immediate awareness.
