stories from the field

by Orlando Oyola

Designing a logo that tells a story for a specific purpose is very challenging. The logo I proposed for stories from the field, will encompass a multifaceted human rights and humanitarian global issues. For centuries, plants have had special meanings attached to them. These meanings have been used to show emotions and give messages in a non-verbal form. Plants are universal symbol of love, joy, nurturing, deliverance, hope, purity, prosperity, fidelity, and well being. I had create it a concisely language, that communicates this issues: Elements like plants, film strips, leaves, birds, are all working together to communicate the purpose of this film festival. The logo works well on different application and sizes, its friendly and most important of all, it communicates with the audience.
