Every second, around the globe, documentaries are made by people with no camera.
They are seen with a person’s own eyes and stored on the retina forever.
It is through these eyes we want to see the documentaries at the Stories from the field festival.
A film camera usually captures life at a speed of 25 frames per second. Therefore, we have divided the ’eye’ of the festival into 25 sections, with colours from all the world’s national flags. Every nation is represented by one or several colours from their flag.
