This logo show us what’s the most significant happening problems around the world right now. The five color of the logo, red, blue, green, yellow and black represent five continents of the world. Just like the Olympic flag, the Red one represent American continent, Blue for Europe, Green for Australia, Yellow for Asia and Black for Africa. This will also represent the various entrants of the UNDFF from the whole globe.
But, all those text on the particular color doesn’t mean that those phenomenon just happening on one continents. Every phenomenon could happen anywhere. It’s just a symbol that our earth is already under threat if we are not start to make changes and stop those bad stories all around the world.
I really want to give a bold on the word: festival. Which means the crowd, the show, and the big impact from this event. This is why I choose the colorful logo for this event.
Of course I also want to make people clearly see what is really happening around and on the other side of the world. It’s also a push for people to start change this situations and succeed the target of Millennium Development Goals by 2015.
APPLICABLE LOGO
This logo is very applicable from small items like a mug, a glass, and stickers, until the bigger items like T shirt, Posters, banners and many more. We can even get five different short versions of this logo for souvenirs (and of course, it’s more economic value for the event and we can give more benefit to the people who need it. And really interesting for collectors, because they can get five different style of the logo)
