The icon is contained within the logotype itself to strengthen it's impression. The letter "O" slashed by a red element reminds an eye wide open. This graphical element works efficiently on its own. The initial "S" and "from the field" with a handwritten font option smoothens the overall, giving a poetical touch to the context, as when a single film bores a sense within a global sense of an event.
