The starting point of this project is the background where the Stories of the Field take place, planet earth. Starting from the idea of density, layers of realities, which sometimes overlay and create depth, the logo is drawn by hand.

The choice of a circular gesture is in connection with the Millennium Development Goals, where all the goals are live and worldly.

The icon can be considered as the inner and outer vision of human rights issues.

The logo works well in black and white as well as colour. The blue pigment gives a visual impact as could be associated to the movement of the sea, expanding. A metaphor for the festival’s achievement to expand and deliver the message.
