The hands are configured in a way that is often used as an impromptu viewfinder. This simple and effective method of framing is being used to put the world in perspective. Achieving this proper perspective of the world is a vital part of being able to work together to achieve the UN's noble goals. In one version the pinky fingers of both hands are rendered like a movie slate that is often used the beginning of a scene. They are about to come down and the Action! is set to begin. The second version has one pinky finger as the olive branch in the United Nations blue that is recognized worldwide.
