This logo subtly incorporates several ideas, including unity, the environment and peace. At first glance, the three pieces of 'film' have obvious meaning, that being to symbolize films and the documentaries the logo represents. However, the logo also contains deeper symbolism. The pieces of film almost have a leafy appearance, reminiscent of falling leaves, bringing in the environmental aspect. Their green colour also relates back to the use of the word ‘Field’ in the name of the festival. The varying shades of green represent different colours of people over the world, and the circular shape and way they are facing towards each other represents unity.
