The inflatable design comprises a cylindrical body with a dome-shaped roof. The wall, floor and roof are a continuous inflatable double-layered canvas material.At the lower half of the outer wall (except at the door) is a pouch-like receptacle for water with two rubber pipe connections to the roof and an outlet tap at the lower side. There are three windows and a door - air-filled canvas flaps continuous with the wall - which have zippers for fastening. The window openings have nylon screens tailored to the outer portion of the canvas wall. Strong cords attached to tent pegs stem from the base of the floor.
Trapped air in the floor, wall and roof would provide good insulation. Rain water / supplied water could be collected in the roof and stored in the receptacle via the rubber pipe connections. And if the weather gets hot, keeping the windows open would provide ventilation while the screens would keep the insects out.The tent pegs would fix the shelter firmly in the ground.In case there is a flood, the air-filled base would enable the shelter stay afloat.
For transportation purpose, the shelter could be deflated and rolled into a compact bundle.
