THE PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Our design is inspired from old temporary Fatemic pavilions with some modifications.
Our shelter consists of :
1-Thick Bamboo units acting as THE SKELETON of the shelter (which grows in The Egyptian Delta –El Kanater , Kalioub & El Sharkeya ) instead of wood (which is always imported from abroad).
2-Printed Khyamya thick cotton cloths treated with a waterproof material acting as THE SKIN.
3-Linen rope to connect the bamboo members with each other and the printed Khyamya cloths.
