Mayu, an inflatable human cocoon

by Narda Beunders

I designed a bag that can be used as an everyday object and if you unfold the bag it becomes an selfinflating cano. The use is pleasure, but when there is an warning of a flood you can fill the cano with more air and close it at the top. The bag transforms from the cano into a human shelter, comparable with a cocoon, which will float with the water and protects you against the enormous force of a flood.
