UNANANA

Unanana is an environment for children that can be transformed to suit and support different stages of development. The children like to explore, construct, remodel, create stories, share with friends and also be independent. Unanana is a mat made by modules(40x40cm.) that can be move and change allowing boys and girls explore and create their own places while they acquire motor skills and stimulate the imagination.

Parents and babies can start using this product from 6/8 months of age. Unanana will be a right place (Option1) when begins to sit, crawl and will explore the world safely sharing with the parents. Also parents can build boxes, tunnels (Option2, 3) between 9 to 18 months and bring the children’s toys to the circular parts with velcro, for having a complete scene. After 20 months and with someone’s help, children can explore other forms, like refuge, a small house or more (Option4, 5, 6). Since 4 years old, child has the skills for construct in an independent way and also if has more than one unanana could explore with more options and bigger configurations.

Different velcro joins in the middle and edges of the mat, allow a rapid opening, closing and change the position of modules for modify the configuration of forms.

Unanana evolves with the child, is a product for reuse in the different stages of development. Children can rediscover it while they growth and also is easy to store because is modular and folding.

Concepts:
The forms remember the natural environment, landscape, mountains. The functionally reference are the assembling games, the construction blocks, the pop up books.

Material:
Is made in moulded polyurethane foam and covered with stretch fabric and velcro in the joins.
Allows use in interiors or exteriors places. Also is washable and non toxic.
