HUMAN REACTOR

by Jaime Garcia
Co-authors: Joyce Chan

The ‘human reactor’ project was provoked by the recent devastating events that occurred in Japan last month . Donating money towards international relief funds or NGOs is perhaps one of the first reactions of many people in wanting to help and the Human Reactor team feels the same way – but wants to take this notion one step further.

The Human Reactor pouch is a humble coin pouch with an engaging message. Without insult but with a little wordplay on the affected ‘nuclear reactors’ at the Fukushima Dai-ichi Power Plant, our message aims to remind how we can be ‘human reactors’ by responding through action. In return for your donation, we hope you will use this coin pouch, carry it with you and the message will carry naturally carry itself forwards.
