I chose to do a simple strong design, something that could be understood in all of the countries.
A hand represents that most crafts are made by hand. The tie around the finger represents the unity of the countries, coming together. They may have different cultures but all have one similarity which is the way that they express themselves through their crafts.
It is important to recognize and acknowledge handicrafts through out the world. As it is something that shows different cultures. It allows their history to be passed on from generation to generation. This is also why I chose to put the tie around the finger as it represents the symbol of infinity, something that never ends and will continue throughout time.
