My concept for the Award of Excellence for Handicrafts has been designed to project a the image that the awards is a worldwide initiative. The globe is supported by an interpretative arm that forms the initial letter 'C' representing the global 'Crafts' community. The globe is wrapped by the skilled creative hands that produce a world of desirable hand crafted objects. Together this identity communicates the concept of the awards as a truly global concept projected with an instantly recognisable simplicity.
