Cross-Culture

'Cross-Culture' is an exploration of typographical design inline with the UNESCO 2010 International year for the rapprochement of cultures.

The themed title has been used to create a graphic emblem conforming to a strict grid alignment. Using a spectrum of colour from red to violet, the text 'CULTURES' has been illuminated as the central concept behind the design. The poster attempts to illustrate the idea of harmony and interconnected relations between various cultures and peoples, through the geometric connecting of each of the characters to it's symmetric counterpart.

The poster elegantly conveys the central message of the International Year, celebrating ideas of reciprocity, intercultural relations, enhanced communications between peoples and and open exchange of common values.
