communication loop

by alsok

My poster design symbolizes the purity and simplicity which should characterize intercultural exchange. A freehand drawn line represents the uniqueness of communication, its personal aspect. The single line forming 2 profiles facing one another creates a link of 2 human beings, representing a constant fluent dialogue. The line creates a flow movement from the head, ear to the mouth and further to the other person’s ear. The created link unites 2 identities, regardless the culture and ancestry. At the same time the 2 heads complete the number “2010” standing for the year of Rapprochement of Cultures. The reduction of colors emphasizes the universal and abstract character of this issue, leaving space for personal interpretation and for interpersonal communication. This poster itself should become an inspiration for all.
