When the World Sees Peace

by Mai-Ly Spiller

With different nationalities working together, it would be impossible to achieve world peace. It was necessary to show the importance of different connections in order to send this message. The glasses represent not only peace, but the importance of the unity among all cultures. They represent people of all nationalities coming together in order to help the world see peace.
The hands making the glasses symbolize the strength in working together. Without their support the image would not hold together; and ultimately it would fall apart. In the Rims, the Hands are connected with head-like images. These represent the importance of understanding to create a mental connection among different cultures.

Without all these images working together to help the world "see", the overall message could not have been achieved.
