Culture Counts: UNESCO poster competition

I recurred to many artistic representations of eyes by different cultural expressions from all around the world to symbolise diversity and plurality of ethnics, languages and beliefs.

I chose the eye as an icon that could metaphorically mean: perception and recognition, analysis and investigation, self-identity and deep observation of the other to achieve common knowledge and harmonious coexistence.

The eyes, brought together, intend to represent a commonly shared space of integration, dialogue and exchange – making reference to the rapprochement of cultures.

I opt not to use any other title or words in attempt to achieve a universally understood image.
