The image represented on my poster was inspired by the simple friendship bracelet. The threads that are cultures are interwoven, culminating in a union at the end. The human hand motif was applied to imbue the image with humanity as well as creating a 'reaching for the stars' together message. The colours I have chosen, while similar to the olympic logo colours, are a great representation of an example where cultures have been able to agree on a standard (flag colours).
