Celebrating 2010, International Year for the Rapprochement of Cultures

This poster compares the rapprochement of cultures with the growth of a plant.The root of the plant are interlinked and contribute to the growth of plant.Similarly the different cultures and civilizations are interlinked and contribute to the progress of humankind.Poster shows three main dimensions of International Year for the Rapprochement of Cultures: dialogue, mutual understanding, and cooperation.This poster also gives the message of a green world.
This poster can partitioned into three.
1.Lower part
There are six continents(not included Antarctica) and in each of these, there are different cultures.The cultures are represented by different colors.These are similar to the root of a plant.
2.Middle part
In the middle part of poster, the plant is not joined with its root.This means that 2010, International Year for the Rapprochement of Cultures tries to make a better world by the Rapprochement of Cultures.Poster tells that dialogue, mutual understanding, and cooperation are the three main dimensions of International Year for the Rapprochement of Cultures.
3.Upper part
The combination of different colors on the upper part which flow over '2010' shows that interlinked cultures and civilizations contribute to the progress of humankind and expecting that 2010, International Year for the Rapprochement of Cultures will achieve its aim.
The poster shows a green landscape with plant,grass,sky and clouds.It is an eco friendly poster and tells 'save green'.This poster thinks that the beneficial effects of cultural diversity include a green world also.
